The SUFD Academy is proud to announce  Spring & Fall offerings of our Certified Firefighter 2 Academy for 2010. SUFD offers this program in a new 8-week format, enduring that all practicals are completed & additional hands-on skills training exceed all OSFM standards.

This is an OSFM eligible certification program and will include all classroom and practical subject coverage's required. Course exceeds OSFM certification requirements and includes training in firefighter safety and survival, technical rescue awareness and SCBA confidence.

Candidates must provide all required protective equipment, medical evaluation and approval to participate in program, insurance coverage certification from employer and other requirements issued to candidate upon receipt of registration. Candidates will challenge the OSFM exam at the end of this academy.
