This 40-hour class is designed to give members the basic skills and knowledge to perform as a supervised member of a rope rescue team.
Rope Operations covers ropes, hardware, knots, anchor systems, belaying, mechanical advantage systems, raising and lowering using rope systems, low angle rescue and patient packaging. Use of actual vertical training scenarios makes this a real-life course.
This is an OSFM certified class. Students will be eligible to challenge the state test at the completion of this class.
