Vehicle Machinery Operations
   
A NEW OSFM certification in 2003, this 40-hour class is to give the member a general working knowledge to perform vehicle extrications and understand basics of machinery extrication.

Topics covered include vehicle anatomy and safety features, scene safety, tools and their uses, stabilization, and techniques to extricate victims. Over 30 hours of this class is spent hand-on with tools, vehicles, and machinery.

This is an OSFM certified class. Students will be eligible to challenge the state test at the completion of this class.
